Food Insecurity
According to Feeding America, food insecurity is a lack of consistent access to enough food for an active, healthy life. Anyone can be affected by food insecurity. In 2018, 1 in 9 Americans were food insecure.

If you find yourself facing food insecurity, there are options available to you:

- Go to foodpantries.org to find your nearest food pantry, soup kitchen, or other help

Food Allergies/Other Dietary Needs
If you are living on campus and have food allergy concerns, MTU Dining has a list of steps you can take, allergen information about meals, and tips to make everything easier for you!
They also have nutrition labels for things made in the dining halls!
Many local restaurants* offer gluten free, dairy free, vegan, vegetarian, etc. options.
