The Student Development Complex (SDC) is a 235,000 square-foot complex that provides a wide range of recreation and fitness programs to keep you healthy, fit, and entertained. Featuring a multipurpose room for track, volleyball, basketball, and badminton; gymnasium for varsity volleyball and basketball; ice arena for varsity hockey, student and community rentals; a fitness center with cardio equipment, weight machines, and free weights; a natatorium with pool and dive tank; squash and racquetball courts; shooting range; fitness studio; classrooms; ticket office; Coaches Corner Café; and University images for the latest styles in Michigan Tech apparel, sporting goods, gifts, and souvenirs. The SDC offers building membership and regular scheduled HuskiesFit programs for youth and adult clinics, camps, and tournaments. Surrounding areas of the SDC, include Sherman Field for varsity football and soccer, soccer fields, and baseball and sand volleyball courts.
